Dear Sunnybrook Students and Families,
I am honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such persevering students, an extremely dedicated staff, and a supportive school community. I feel very fortunate to be part of this school and to support the students.
I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than eighteen years. I am thrilled tobring my skills as an educational leader to Sunnybrook Secondary School and to work with you as a partner in education to ensure your child's success.
I view education as a life-long process and expect that I will continue to learn much about the uniqueness of Sunnybrook this year and in the years to come. Most importantly, I bring a belief that students are at the center of all school-related decisions. I am excited to unite my experience to support our students. Because the relationships between families and the school are vital to the success of our students, I encourage you to become involved in every way possible. I look forward to meeting you soon!
Sincerely,
Kathleen D'Uva

Sunnybrook Secondary School

Vice Principal
Samantha was graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education and brings extensive experience in both teaching and educational leadership. Over the years, she has served as principal of several private high schools, working closely with parents and students from diverse countries and cultural backgrounds. She deeply understands that education has a profound and lasting impact on students, regardless of where they come from.
For Samantha, education goes beyond acquiring knowledge — it is about helping students develop learning strategies that work best for them and providing the support they need to succeed. She believes that offshore high school programs open the door for international students to access Canada’s high-quality educational resources more easily. The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) program’s non-exam-oriented, student-centered approach empowers every learner to reach their full academic potential.
